The mission of the Office of Institutions and Management (OIM) is to
provide effective and efficient institutional support to enable the
Agency to successfully eliminate risk and accomplish its missions. It
oversees the management of the institutional functional offices, ensures
integration and alignment of mission support activities and promotes
consistency of approach for improving functional performance across the
Agency. OIM serves as a liaison to external organizations with similar
functions and stakeholders that establish Government-wide policy and
requirements.

As a mission support office, OIM, along with Center mission support
organizations are jointly responsible for identifying and managing
institutional risk to mission, and for identifying and mitigating future
institutional risks.
