We encourage all to report suspected unauthorized fills in wetlands/other unauthorized work in waterways and/or wetlands to the Baltimore District Enforcement Officer responsible for the area. Provided below is the Reporting Violations Form to report violations in the Baltimore District. Maps detailing the enforcement areas within the Baltimore District's jurisdiction can be found here: Maryland; Pennsylvania. On this form, please provide ALL available information. We will use the information provided to initiate an investigation, however, for best results, we ask that you also furnish maps, photographs, and any other pertinent information to the following:
In addition to the personnel located at the District Office in downtown Baltimore, there are three Regulatory Field Offices located throughout the area regulated by the Baltimore District.
Each field office has full authority and responsibility for making permit determinations, processing permits, and administering the permit program in their area. Field Offices are responsible for the counties within their area. The Regulatory Staff within each field office are assigned a number of counties and are responsible for all permit activities within their assigned counties, including permit determinations, permit processing, pre-application meetings, and ENFORCEMENT. |
