DCL-05-17, Military Trainer Guide: Working with the Military on Child Support Matters

The latest trainer guide dealing with child support collections from the military has now been prepared. The guide contains a two-day course curriculum targeted for child support enforcement workers who process cases involving military members. Its modular format, trainer notes, content outline, and training aids, such as handouts and presentations, should be helpful to State and local CSE trainers.

DCL-04-26, The Servicemembers’ Civil Relief Act, replaces the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Civil Relief Act of 1940.

On December 19, 2003, the President signed into law the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Pub. L. 108-189. This new law amends and renames the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Civil Relief Act (SSCRA) of 1940.
