Program Planning and Evaluation Division

 
 

This division manages and directs a wide range of EEO and EO requirements regarding NASA assisted and conducted programs through effective policy and program development, analysis and evaluation, outreach, and monitoring. The division consists of three functional areas that have responsibilities for developing, managing and implementing policies, procedures, programs, and activities throughout NASA.

EO Program Policy Development
This functional area develops NASA policy directives, procedural recuirements, and ODEO guidance on matters pertaining to EEO and EO requirements regarding NASA assisted and conducted programs under Federal law.

Compliance and Evaluation
This functional area is responsible for managing the implementation of EEO and EO requirements regarding NASA assisted and conducted programs under Federal law, such as the Model NASA EEO Plan; functional reviews of NASA Center EO programs; EO compliance reviews of NASA grant recipients; and other internal and external EO compliance requirements (e.g., reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, language assistance services regarding NASA conducted programs).

Outreach And Special Emphasis Programs
This functional area ensures that NASA continues to take affirmative steps so that employees have the freedom to compete on a fair and level playing field and that the applicant pool for NASA employment is as diverse as possible.
