Fairbanks Fish & Wildlife Field Office

Our office works to recover endangered species, inventory and clean up environmental contaminants, and coordinate with other agencies to provide technical advice on habitat conservation and restoration. We also monitor and assess fish populations in northern and western Alaska, and help meet salmon escapement goals while providing for subsistence along the Yukon River.
