From the Commissioner's Desk

Commissioner Stamps discusses the Healani Canoe Club Restoration and Cultural Preservation project with Uncle Bobby, Master Canoe Builder, while youth participants demonstrate sanding techniques.

"The Wellness of our communities is our choice. We as Native people have the choice of what we will take with us into the future and what we will leave behind. To ensure we as Native People have a future, we must focus on the wellness of our children, families and communities."

- Commissioner Quanah Stamps
