Coastal Zone 07, held in Portland, Oregon, July 22 to 26, 2007, was a huge success. 920 people representing 16 countries attended this biennial event. Participants from federal, state, local, and tribal governments, academia, nonprofit organizations, and private industry shared case studies, lessons learned, and success stories in support of the overall conference theme, "Brewing Local Solutions to Your Coastal Issues."
