CNT Overview

The NTOA provides a national forum for crisis negotiators throughout the United States and around the world. In addition to offering several training courses for basic and advanced crisis negotiations each year, NTOA conducts a well-attended annual CNT conference which offers dynamic speakers and timely incident debriefs.

Since 2001, NTOA has published a quarterly newsletter, the Crisis Negotiator, which is devoted to the latest crisis negotiation topics and techniques. A complete listing of published articles is available in our online Article Index.

Our discussion forums offer an opportunity for information networking between negotiators and tactical officers. This forum is available to all NTOA members.
