Credit is provided for preparing, adopting, implementing, evaluating, and updating a comprehensive floodplain management plan. The Community Rating System (CRS) does not specify what must be in a plan, but it only credits plans that have been prepared and kept updated according to the standard planning process. Credit is also provided for implementing a habitat conservation plan.
