Fugitive Safe Surrender

Camden, New Jersey - November 19-22, 2008

Development of Fugitive Safe Surrender in the City of Camden was launched under the leadership of James Plousis, United States Marshal for the District of New Jersey, in late 2005.  For the past three years, Marshal Plousis has worked with government, corporate, non-profit, and faith-based sector partners to lay the groundwork for the first successful Fugitive Safe Surrender operation in the State of New Jersey.  That four-day surrender period has now been set for Wednesday, November 19, to Saturday, November 22, 2008.

The Reverend John O. Parker, Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church, located at 700 Ferry Avenue in Camden, has agreed to serve as the faith-based leader of Fugitive Safe Surrender, and will host the surrender days in his church.
