The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) has developed a work plan based on AISI's commitment letter and the Climate Challenge Program which addresses the overall elements of the Climate VISION program including: 1) emission measurement and reporting protocols; 2) identifying and implementing near-term, cost-effective opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas emission intensity; 3) developing cross-sector projects for reducing greenhouse gas emission intensity; and 4) accelerating investment in R&D and commercialization of advanced technology.
