We offer both high school and college internships in our Albuquerque office.
Interns are important members of our team. They are given real responsibilities to serve constituents and gain work experience. In our Albuquerque district office, interns assist with constituent services as well as answering phones, drafting letters, helping staff Congressional events, and performing office tasks.
Students who participate in the Albuquerque Internship Program:
- Must be available to work no less than five hours per week
- Must be currently enrolled in college, high school or GED program
- Must have reliable transportation to and from my downtown office
To apply contact the Albuquerque office:
Call the office at 505-346-6781, approximately 30 days or less before your desired start date, to speak with the District Director. An interview will be scheduled, at which time you will be asked to bring a resume and/or a letter of interest explaining your interest in this congressional internship, along with 2-3 references for us to contact.
You may also contact Heather Wilson’s District Office by sending an e-mail to: Ask.Heather@mail.house.gov with “Internship/Albuquerque” in the subject line.
