The Office of Community Health and Health Planning promotes access to high-quality, safe health care by collaborating with a variety of public and private partners on policy development and program implementation.

Through its regulatory activities, the Office also assures established standards are met by hospitals, emergency medical technicians, ambulance services, and trauma systems.

Epinephrine Training Protocol
The "Treatment of Severe Allergic Reaction: A Protocol for Training" was developed in response to ORS 433.805-830. Multiple copies are available upon request or you may print and copy from the link below. In addition, a slide presentation has been developed for use with the protocol.

Boards and Partnerships
Public Health Institutional Review Board
Protecting Research Subjects: The Public Health Institutional Review Board (IRB) reviews research studies to ensure that the rights and well being of people who are subjects in research are protected.
Oregon Office on Disability and Health (OODH)
A collaborative effort with OHSU promoting the health and wellness of Oregonians with disabilities.
Patient Safety Commission
Working to improve patient safety by reducing the risk of serious adverse events occurring in Oregon's health care system and by encouraging a culture of patient safety.
