| The Office of Community Health and Health Planning promotes access to high-quality, safe health care by collaborating with a variety of public and private partners on policy development and program implementation. Through its regulatory activities, the Office also assures established standards are met by hospitals, emergency medical technicians, ambulance services, and trauma systems. The Office also administers a number of special programs, including the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program. | |

| Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Systems Ensures that high-quality community resources are available to respond to medical emergencies in Oregon...Includes: Health Care Licensure and Certification - ensures that Oregonians have wide access to the health care they need and that it will be safe and of high quality. Health Systems Planning - helps the state improve access to primary health care, reduce disparities in health services, improve patient safety, and increase the level of patient centered care. Medical Marijuana - manages the registry identification system that grants legal protections to qualified people who meet requirements for legal protections for growing and using medical marijuana. | |
