VA Pandemic Influenza Plan
Developed in March 2006, the plan is being added to existing emergency plans of the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide a foundation for preparation, response, and recovery stages of an influenza pandemic by VA Central Office, the Veterans Health Administration, the Veterans Benefits Administration, and the National Cemetery Administration at the national, regional, and local levels.

A VA public health campaign designed to enlist patients, families, visitors, and staff in preventing infection in our facilities and our communities.  It promotes awareness through education on basic, daily public health measures that can reduce the spread of infection and infectious agents.
 


Ionizing Radiation Briefs - Fact Sheet Series - December 2004.  A fact sheet series designed to help veterans who were exposed to ionizing radiation while in the military, their families and others who may have concerns about the possible long-term health consequences of such exposure. 
 


Terrorism Readiness Plan: Personal Emergency Preparedness Brochure
A concise 2-page pamphlet developed by the Office of Public Health and Environmental Hazards, which impressed the DC Board of Education, and resulted in their distributing it in their system.
