EPA Mailing Lists

EPA's Listserv Mailing Lists

A listserver is an application which manages messages sent to a group of e-mail addresses. It allows a mailing list member to e-mail all other members of the list by sending a single email to the list address. The mailing list members are called subscribers and the person in charge of each mailing list is called an owner or administrator.

Create A New List

Any EPA employee can create a new mailing list under the Working Capital Fund service: Listserv Services (XL). To order this service you must first order the service from Working Capital Fund e-buisness site. Contact your office WCF Service Coordinator to place the order. Once the order is processed by the XL Service Manager, you will receive e-mail notification and, you will be asked to fill out an on-line request form by the Lyris Administrator to set up your listserv.

If you have any questions contact XL Service Manager Paul Cusumano at 919-541-0689 or email at cusumano.vicente@epa.gov.

Request EPA Mailing List

Please remember that once the service is ordered you will need to complete the form in its entirety, including the Memo of Responsibility.

The cost for each list is billed to your office each month and is based on the number of lists you create, not the number of subscribers or messages processed. For more information on cost, please visit http://cfint.rtpnc.epa.gov/otop/currentfyservices/xl/xl.cfm on the Intranet.

Subscribe / Unsubscribe

List subscriptions may be managed via the web or through email commands sent to the listserver.

To subscribe to a list, go to the mailing list web interface at https://lists.epa.gov/read/all_forums/ and click on the subscribe button beside the list you would like to join. You also can join a list by sending an e-mail to join-listname@lists.epa.gov (where listname is the name of the list you would like to join).

To manage your list subscriptions, go to the Lyris web interface and login by clicking on "My Forums". NOTE: For EPA staff, if you registered before November 2004, your e-mail address may be lastname.firstname@epamail.epa.gov instead of lastname.firstname@epa.gov.

To unsubscribe from a list, send an e-mail to unsubscribe-listname@lists.epa.gov (where listname is the name of the list you would like to leave).

For more information on a particular list, please send an e-mail to listname-owner@lists.epa.gov (again, where listname is the name of the mailing list).
