Technical Abstract: The primary goals of this conference were to explore current knowledge of the intersections of nutrition, genetics, and inflammation as they relate to commonly occurring diseases of aging and to explore practical approaches to applying this knowledge to influence healthy aging.
The conference was intended to create a greater understanding of some of the key molecular and clinical intersections involving nutrition, genetics, and inflammation in various diseases of aging. We also hoped to identify knowledge gaps and opportunities to apply and disseminate the knowledge of nutrition, genetics, and inflammation to achieve healthier aging.
