This page presents highlights of Performance Track members' results from 2000-2006 (the most recent year for which data are available), expanding on the overview provided in Performance Track's Sixth Annual Progress Report.

Results at a Glance
Since Performance Track's inception, members have cumulatively:
- Saved enough water to meet the needs of 125,000 homes for one year.*
- Reduced greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to the annual emissions of 57,000 cars.
- Saved enough energy to power 46,000 homes for one year.
- Reduced non-hazardous waste equivalent to the amount produced by 553,000 homes for one year.
Cumulative results for selected indicators are shown below. Results for all indicators are available in the Detailed Results section. Results cover the years 2000-2006 and include only members that set a goal for this indicator and completed at least one three-year membership term.

Cumulative improvements are the sum of each year's performance compared with the baseline. The baseline is the amount reported by members for the year preceding their three-year membership term. For more information on interpreting cumulative results, see the Notes on the Results page.
*The value for cumulative water savings was changed in July 2008 due to the discovery of a facility reporting error. The value was changed from 5.19 billion gallons to 3.66 billion gallons.
