Follow the links below to find forms that let you query the data.
The queries allow you to select portions of the data geographically,
by pollutants (or parameters), and by time. You should be aware that
this query section is intended for those persons who are familiar with
ambient air quality monitoring and related data. If you would like
information derived from data that have already been analyzed, you may
want to look at other links from the
AIRData page.
Air Quality Data contains annual summaries of key measurements from
each monitor. Information such as maximum value, average value, and
number of exceedances of the standard are available through the Annual Summary
table.
Site Descriptive Data contains data about the physical location of the
monitors. Information such as the latitude/longitude, city location, and who
owns the site are available here.
Monitor Descriptive Data contains data about the equipment at monitoring
sites used to sample the air. Information such as the probe height,
monitoring objective, and when the monitor was operable are available
here.
Reference Tables. To keep the database smaller, many fields in AQS are
populated with codes rather than full text descriptions. So the reports you
get from the above links will contain many fields with the word "code" in the
header. To interpret these codes we have created reference tables with the
full information that the code represents. Some provide other useful
information as well. For example, the county reference table lists the county
name and additional information, such as the population and area.
* Indicates that the table is too long to display in its entirety so you will be
asked to narrow your search when you select this link.
The data queried from this page is updated monthly.
The last update was on November 4, 2008.
