The Institute of Peace has secured an extraordinary site on which to build its permanent headquarters. The site is located at the northwest corner of the National Mall at Constitution Avenue and 23rd Street, NW in Washington, D.C. The site faces the Lincoln Memorial and is adjacent to the Korean War and Vietnam Veterans memorials.
The location, visited by millions of tourists each year, is home to one of the most important and recognizable vistas in the country. This venue is a perfect location for the Institute's headquarters—"the war and peace" corner of the National Mall.
