ANE Regional Pesticide and Food Safety Management Course
Tuesday-Friday, February 26-29, 2008, Bangkok, Thailand

USAID/ANE and RDM/A are planning a 4-day Regional Reg. 216-Pesticide-Food Safety Management Training, Bangkok, Thailand, Tuesday-Friday, February 26-29, 2008. The participant target audience consists of USAID Mission Environmental Officers, other USAID and State staff, and implementing partners. Topics include 22 CFR 216 general concepts, scoping statements and environmental assessments, regional and host-country environmental challenges and issues, pesticide and food safety management update, environmental management plans, environmental assessment screenings, and various environmental audits. Activities include small-group exercises, infrastructure site visit/audit, role playing, and small-group audit presentations. There is no charge for participation,. Participants are expected to fund their own travel, lodging, and miscellaneous and incidental expenses. Participants are responsible for their visas, country clearance, and accommodations.
