CMM Launches Three Conflict Toolkits
December, 2004
The Office of Conflict Management and Mitigation (CMM) continues
to develop packages of technical assistance in a number of
critical focus areas that are related to conflict, including
youth, land, local governance, water, natural resources, livelihoods,
human rights and gender. These "toolkits" explain the connections
between the focus area and conflict and aim to provide USAID
missions with access to concrete, practical program options,
lessons learned, and information about potential partners,
mechanisms and monitoring and evaluation tools for implementing
more effective conflict programs.
The following toolkits may be downloaded here:
They are also available in hard copy from the USAID Development Experience Clearinghouse (DEC). Information about the ordering process can be found at http://www.dec.org/order_info.cfm. You will need to provide the appropriate document identification number (DOCID No.), when you fill out the online form. Those codes are:
- Youth and Conflict - DOCID: PN-ADB-336
- Land and Conflict - DOCID: PN-ADB-307
- Minerals and Conflict - DOCID: PN-ADB-335
