Tracy Hill, Project Leader
Tracy manages the Columbia Fishery Resources Office and its operations on a wide variety of fishery projects and issues within the Missouri River Basin. He serves on the Pallid Sturgeon Recovery Team. Tracy is coordinator of the Middle Basin Pallid Sturgeon Workgroup, a cooperative effort of state, federal, and university biologists working to recover pallid sturgeon populations in the Lower Missouri and Middle Mississippi Rivers. He is also a member of the Missouri River Natural Resources Committee and its Fish Technical Section Committee.

Joanne Grady, Branch Chief - Fish Conservation
Joanne serves as one of two Regional Tag Coordinators for the MICRA Paddlefish Stock Assessment Project. Her responsibilities for the MICRA project include database administration, geographic information systems, and data analysis. She is a member of the Mississippi Interstate Cooperative Resource Association (MICRA) paddlefish and sturgeon subcommittee, as well as the Missouri Paddlefish Management Team. Joanne coordinates our efforts to improve fish passage for Midwest native fish. Joanne also coordinates outreach and volunteer recruitment efforts.

Louise Mauldin, Fishery Biologist
Louise coordinates a variety of fishery resource management activities on federal lands in Iowa and Missouri. She is responsible for monitoring fish response to habitat restorations and improvements in the Lower Missouri River, primarily on the Big Muddy National Fish and Wildlife Refuge. Her skills in fish identification, statistical analysis, and geographic information systems (GIS) are an asset to this office and utilized in many of our projects.

Wyatt Doyle, Branch Chief - Corps Operations
Wyatt coordinates our efforts to monitor the Endangered pallid sturgeon in the Lower Missouri River. He is responsible for year-round field sampling of all life stages of the pallid sturgeon. Wyatt is trying to determine seasonal habitat use, habitat preferences, and species associations of pallid sturgeon. Wyatt is also forging new ground in the Midwest by developing standards for large river otter trawling to capture juvenile sturgeon.

Andrew Starostka, Fishery Biologist
Andy's major duties are to assist with field fishery and survey projects by electrofishing, netting, seining, trawling, and tagging various fish species. He is responsible for fisheries management activities at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant and Asian Carp Project development. Andy also performs and coordinates maintenance and service on the Columbia FRO's boats, outboard motors, trucks, nets, and other sampling gear. As our collateral duty safety officer he helps ensure our staff is up to date on safety certifications and that we perform our duties in a safe manner.
