The Work Zone Mobility and Safety Fact Sheets are a series of publications that showcase activities for improving mobility and safety through our nation's construction and maintenance work zones. More specifically, the fact sheets are intended to:

  • Share lessons learned from a project, practice, or application
  • Showcase innovative technologies and best practices
  • Support the Work Zone Best Practices Guidebook and its database of practices and technologies
  • Introduce new initiatives, products, and tools.

A complete electronic copy of the printed version of these fact sheets can be viewed using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not currently have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, you must install it before you can view these documents. Once Acrobat Reader has been successfully installed on your computer, you can view the printed version of these documents by clicking on the PDF annotated links below. If you have an older version of Acrobat Reader you will experience difficulty viewing these images.

We would like to share your success story with the highway community across the nation. If you are interested in offering a topic for a future fact sheet, please contact the Mobility Team member Tracy Scriba: tracy.scriba@dot.gov.
