  • In February 2007, ALOHA was upgraded to version 5.4.1 and MARPLOT was upgraded to version 3.3.3.

To download these new versions, follow the instructions below.

Download CAMEO

From this page, you can download and install the CAMEO software suite by following the steps below.

  1. Read the Terms and Conditions Agreement for CAMEO.  By downloading or requesting CAMEO, you agree to these terms and conditions.
  2. Go to the CAMEO Download Page to download CAMEO and a user's manual, and to find out how to install and get started with CAMEO.
  3. Go to the ALOHA Download Page to download ALOHA and a user's manual, and to find out how to install and get started with ALOHA.
  4. Go to the MARPLOT Download Page to download MARPLOT and a user's manual, and to find out how to install and get started with MARPLOT.
  5. LandView is the application that CAMEO users must have in order to obtain census population data for MARPLOT map areas (such as inside a plume, or for any radius), and also for database and map records for the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) and other EPA-regulated facilities.  You can download the  LandView 6 Prince William County Demo system at Census Bureau (14MB install file) from the Census Bureau LandView web site. After installing LandView, run MARPLOT from the LandView folder (c:\lv6a) rather than from the standard MARPLOT download in order to integrate the LandView map objects with CAMEO.  The complete LandView 6 system is available on DVD-ROM for the entire U.S. See http://landview.census.gov for the latest information. For those who need the population and other data in LandView but do not have a DVD reader, you can obtain LandView 5, which is available on CD-ROM by state. LandView 5 has the same basic population counts as LandView 6, but does not include additional socio-economic census data available in LandView 6.
Obtaining Other Software and Documents

Visit our Downloadable Programs page to download software and other electronic files, including the Chemical Reactivity Worksheet, MARPLOT Maps (U.S. locations only), an ArcView Extension for ALOHA (allows ALOHA threat zones to be displayed in ArcView), and various technical explanations of the CAMEO software suite.

CAMEO News Service

The CAMEO News Service is a one-way listserve which serves as a communication tool for CAMEO managers and developers to communicate important information to the CAMEO community. We anticipate regular communications, perhaps monthly, which will provide users with an up-to-date status on various aspects of the CAMEO/MARPLOT/ALOHA software.

If you want to subscribe to the CAMEO News Service,
send mail to join-cameo@lists.epa.gov.
