Information from EPA

Ag 101
Ag 101 provides a brief overview of American agriculture. It covers the primary commodities produced today and the methods of doing so. Ag 101 was developed by Purdue University.

Introduction to Animal Agriculture Exit EPA
These narrated powerpoint presentations were developed by the University of Minnesota Extension to orient new staff working in the area of animal agriculture. For each of the topics (swine, dairy, beef, manure, poultry, manure) there is a 10-18 minute narrated presentation.

Clean Water Act Online Training
An introduction to the Clean Water Act developed by EPA's Watershed Academy Web.

EPA National Enforcement Training Institute (NETI) Online Exit EPA
This site provides access to NETI course registration, training products, online classrooms, and e-mail updates. To register for courses, users must obtain a NETI Online account which is free to all international, federal, state, local and tribal government environment enforcement personnel.

Making the Connection: Smart Growth and Water Resource Protection
Changes in land use are linked to impacts on water resources. This module illustrates how historical trends in growth patterns and activities on land have become the most significant challenge for preserving water quality and meeting future water resource goals.

Livestock and Poultry Environmental Stewardship Curriculum
The educational materials developed for the Livestock and Poultry Environmental Stewardship (LPES) Curriculum, a nationally developed and regionally piloted core curriculum, include 26 lessons grouped into six modules; environmental stewardship and/or regulatory compliance assessment tools for most lessons; and PowerPoint presentations for each lesson. The LPES educational materials were developed with support from the USDA-CSREES, EPA, and the University of Nebraska Cooperative Extension at Lincoln.

Montana State University - Animal and Range Science Extension Service: Natural Resources Links/Small Acreage Landowner Teaching Materials
These modules are designed to assist people in teaching small acreage landowner seminars. Each module contains information about various exercises and includes PowerPoint presentations that can be downloaded.
