Intranet Publishing Guidelines
EPA's Intranets are
intended primarily to facilitate internal communication of information
among Agency employees. Publishing to both the Agency (i.e., EPA@Work) and
Headquarters Intranets differs in several respects from Internet
publishing. Those differences are:

Background, Infrastructure, Support & Process, Local Intranet Sites, Our EPA Intranet server
Content
Agency Intranet (Agency Controlled Content); Approvals, Accuracy,
Timeliness/Currency, Personal Home Pages and Linked Content
Navigation/Organization
Presenting a Unified Picture, Dead Links, Restricted Access
Style/Markup
Look and Feel, Definitions, Policy, Standard Elements, Search Pages,
Body, Large or Complex Documents, Links to Large Files, Multimedia, Images
