Automotive Supply Chain Trade Mission: Dec 2 – 4, 2008 - Monterrey and Saltillo 

The United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service is organizing an Automotive Supply Chain Trade Mission to Monterrey and Saltillo, Mexico, December 2-4, 2008.  The mission will include representatives from a variety of U.S. automotive industry manufacturers and service providers. Participants will be introduced to international agents, distributors and end-users whose capabilities are targeted to their needs in each market. Expo Manufactura 2009: February 17 - 19, 2009 - Monterrey, Nuevo Leon

Expo Manufactura 2009 will be held in February 17-19, at the Cintermex international trade center in Monterrey, Mexico. Considered as the most complete and important international industrial exhibition of the manufacturing sector in Mexico, Expo Manufactura 2009 will present the best strategies and solutions directed to the sector, as well as some interesting novelties for industries such as the automotive, plastics, welding, aeronautic, metal-mechanic, medical devices, house appliances and capital goods. Infrastructure Security 2009: February 2 – 4 – Mexico City

The Infrastructure Security Mission 2009 will allow your company to meet key decision-makers and contacts in the Mexican Government and private sector, introducing your security solutions for infrastructure facilities: oil, roads, airports, customs, ports and telecommunications. XXXII Feria Internacional de Franquicias: March 4 – 6, 2009 – Mexico City

The Feria Internacional de Franquicias is the largest franchise event in Latin America attracting investors from Mexico, Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean.   In 2008, the event attracted more than 30,000 visitors, all of them in search of opportunities to develop business in their respective markets. The USA Pavilion included over 20 US franchise concepts looking for master/regional franchisees in the Mexican market. Aeroexpo 2009: April 16 – 18, 2009 – Mexico City

The U.S. Commercial Service in Mexico will host a U.S. Pavilion at AeroExpo 2009, which is a biennial international exhibition and the largest aviation/aerospace trade show in Mexico.  Your company and products have an excellent opportunity to find direct clients and consumers, potential partners, representatives and distributors. Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2009: April 30 – May 7, 2009 – Mexico City

Founded in 1969, the Offshore Technology Conference is the world’s foremost event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production, and environmental protection. OTC is held annually at the Reliant Center in Houston. More than 67,000 people visited OTC 2007, with participation from nearly 2,400 companies from more than 30 countries. International Convergence Congress: June 23 – 25, 2009 – Mexico City 

Since its beginning in 2005, The Technology Convergence Congress has been considered the most practical and innovative technology trade show in Mexico because of its seminars and solutions on display. It is focused on IT & Telecom Engineers, R&D, Strategic Planning, Call Center Engineers and Managers. PAACE Automechanika Mexico 2009: July 7 – 11, 2009 – Mexico City

The Panamerican Automotive Accessories/Components Expo (PAACE) is the leading automotive parts industry trade event in Mexico. The Seminar Program will feature national and international market information, importing and exporting guidelines and marketing and product information. The number of exhibitors has considerably increased year after year, having more than 500 exhibitors in 2008 with 17,800 visitors from 34 countries. The U.S. Commercial Service in Mexico will be present at the show to promote U.S. Commercial Service Products and Services. Las Americas Security Show 2009: September 1 – 3, 2009 – Mexico City

LASS 2009 is a trade show focused on diversified security products and services. This program targets bilingual and bicultural schools in Mexico City and is an excellent vehicle for U.S. education institutions looking to increase their enrollment of Mexican students. You will have the opportunity to talk to Mexican students interested in and, most importantly, able to study in the United States. EnviroPro/PowerMex 2009: September 19 – 21, 2009 – Mexico City

 Enviro-Pro Mexico 2009 is the largest and most prominent international exhibition for the environmental and energy sectors in Mexico. It will bring together members of the Mexican government and business community with the leading suppliers of innovative technologies, with the goal of finding solutions to the environmental problems that Mexico currently faces.
In tandem with Enviro-Pro 2009, PowerMex Clean Energy & Efficiency 2009 presents the latest, cutting edge technologies within the energy industry in Mexico. It is the place to be for professionals involved in the transmission, distribution, generation and cogeneration of electrical energy, as well as renewable energy solutions such as wind and solar energy.

OCTOBER

BajaMak 2009: October 10, 2009 - Tijuana

 BajaMak is a regional trade show focused on promoting the maquiladora supply industry  based in Baja California, as well as products and services from specialized providers in order to increase the level of integration to meet the requirements of NAFTA for the industrial sector production process. It is divided into five specialized pavilions: aerospace, automotive, medical, metal-mechanical and electronics sectors, where leading industries can contribute their supply and service requirements. Each of the pavilions at BajaMak 2009 will host U. S. and Mexican industrial suppliers and service providers. There will also be a pavilion for outsourcing companies and software developers.
