proper safety measures are not in place, workers may fall from
runways that lead to the burner or get crushed from an improperly

Hazards/Solutions:
Workers may be struck or crushed by unstable
burner stacks. If proper safety measures are not in place, workers
may fall from runways that lead to the burner.
If the burner stack is not
self-supporting, it must be guyed or otherwise supported. 1910.265(c)(29)(i)
The conveyor runway to the
burner must be equipped with a standard handrail. If the runway
crosses a roadway or thoroughfare, standard toe boards must also
be provided. 1910.265(c)(29)(ii)
