Grants

Some of the most significant work accomplished in the realm of environmental protection is completed at the state and local level. To facilitate and support these efforts, EPA provides funding as grants and cooperative agreements to qualified applicants on subjects that involve the environment. The grants and cooperative agreements provided by EPA are sums of money awarded to finance programs or a particular project or activity that aims to safeguard the natural environment and protect human health.

Grants.gov Exit EPA disclaimer allows organizations to electronically find and apply for Federal grants. Grants.gov is the single access point for over 1000 grant programs offered by all Federal grant-making agencies.  Federal grant applicants must complete a three-step registration process before applying for a federal grant opportunity through Grants.gov.
