As the investigative arm of Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enforces the nation's customs and immigration laws and provides security for Federal buildings. ICE's enforcement mission is carried out by a wide variety of law enforcement, security and intelligence professionals, all of whom have the opportunity to make a personal contribution to the safety and security of our country. These professionals serve in one of ICE's four operational divisions: Office of Investigations, Office of Detention and Removal Operations, Office of Intelligence, and the Federal Protective Service. In addition to the core law enforcement occupations, there are also hundreds of professional and administrative functions that support the ICE mission.
