UNICOR and the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) are proud to present “GREEN-FED II”. A zero cost e-scrap recycling program for all Arkansas Residents. “GREEN-FED II” is the second step in providing a FREE and CONVENIENT e-scrap program in waste management for residents. This program will provide an effective, environmentally sound and EPA compliant e-scrap recycling program covering the entire state of Arkansas. It is estimated that within the next five years, more than 400 million computers will be obsolete and disposed of per year. Land-filling and discarding this equipment improperly, is harmful to the environment. That is why the Recycling Business Group (UNICOR), and the (ADEQ), have "teamed up" to ensure the success of“GREEN-FED II”. How do YOU participate in Click on the icon below and fill out the “GREEN-FED II” request form and a postage paid United Parcel Service (UPS) label will be sent to you. Then, all you have to do is place your items in a container/box. Seal the container/box, affix the shipping label and take it to the nearest UPS drop off location. Click here to find the drop off location nearest you. *DO NOT use UPS "drop box" locations! United Parcel Service (UPS) will deliver the packed material to UNICOR who will recycle it properly in their ISO-9001:2000 Certified and IAER Certified Recycling Facility. |
