Certified FacilitiesThe Recycling Business Group is continually striving to fulfill a major management initiative by achieving national certification of the business processes in each of the Electronics Recycling Factories.Our goal is to pursue certification in three areas; ISO-9001:2000 (Quality Management System), IAER (International Association of Electronics Recyclers) Certification, and ISO-14001:2004 (Environmental Management System). These organizations are nationally recognized for excellence in their respective areas and will conduct independent, on-site reviews of all our operations to assure compliance with established standards. Certification will demonstrate Federal Prison Industries' commitment to meet and exceed all environmental, health and safety standards set by county, city, state, or federal agencies through law or regulation. An ambitious plan has been established for all recycling factories to achieve Certifications in IAER (International Association of Electronics Recyclers) ISO-9001:2000 (quality) and ISO-14001:2004 (environmental). |
