Center Activities
Fostering partnerships by sharing expertise effectively enhances the enforcement capabilities of international, federal, tribal, state and local governments. These partnerships promote a greater overall understanding of and compliance with environmental regulations.
The NEIC involves itself in numerous partnerships ranging from Community Outreach to hosting visitors from other countries.
Encouraging careers in Science and Engineering occupations is one of many ways NEIC presents career options to students in the public schools. NEIC, in an effort to continue to support a community outreach program recognized the opportunity to plant the seeds of possibilities with the next generation of young chemists, engineers, scientists and information technologists by participating in local career days in the local public schools. The purpose is to expose students to a wide range of possible careers and jobs and to show them that there are many options available to them when they become adults and enter into the work world.
