India's Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC) joins Natural Gas STAR International - August 14, 2007 U.S. EPA and India's largest oil producer signed an agreement to take joint action to reduce emissions of methane, a potent greenhouse gas. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC) has become the eighth partner to join EPA's Natural Gas STAR International. In joining the Program, ONGC is demonstrating leadership by committing to work with the EPA to identify and implement cost-effective methane emission reduction projects and to report their successes to EPA.
