YEMEN, REPUBLIC OF- *Passport and visa required. Visa valid 30 days from date of issuance for single entry; requires 1 application form and 2 color photos. Tourist visa requires proof of onward/return transportation, employment, letter of invitation, health certificate, and $50 fee (single entry valid 3 months). Business visa requires letter from employer in Yemen and $50 fee (single entry valid 3 months). Student visas require a letter of acceptance from the institution in Yemen, indicating type and duration of study. Minimum processing time is 3 business days. Tourist/business multiple-entry visa, valid up to 3 years, requires $40 processing fee (no personal checks), 2 application forms, and 2 photos. Note: If applicant adds spouse and/or children to visa form, traveler must pay $30 fee and an additional $10 fee for each child. If applicant is from a nonprofit organization, letter from organization required. When a visa is obtained at port of entry, it is only valid for a stay of up to 3 months and the fee is $25.
