UGANDA - UKRAINE - UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - UNITED KINGDOM - URUGUAY - UZBEKISTAN

UGANDA - *Valid passport and visa required. Visa should be obtained in advance. Visa requires a passport (must be valid beyond the date of your trip), international yellow fever and cholera vaccination certificate, 1 application form, 2 passport sized photos (print name on back side of one), and appropriate fee. Visa fee is $50 single entry (3 months); $90 multiple entry (6 months); $190 multiple entry (1 year). Express processing available for additional $10. Include SASE for the return of your passport. UKRAINE - *Passport required. Visa not required for tourist/business/private stay of up to 90 days. U.S. citizens who enter Ukraine seeking employment, permanent residency, or to study require a visa. For stays longer than 90 days visa requires 1 application form, a valid passport, and 1 recent photo. Minors require a joint notarized written request from both parents. Based on the type of visa, the visa fee varies from$10 to $130 and payable by money order only. Transit visa requires onward/return ticket. Valid medical/health insurance is required. UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - *Passport required. Visa and fee not required for stay of up to 30 days. For longer stays, visa requires 2 application forms, original signed passport (with minimum validity of 6 months), 2 passport-sized photos, letter of employment or proof of sufficient funds, and $51 fee. Visa valid for up to 10 years, for maximum stay of 6 months per entry. May be subject to HIV testing in country upon submission of residence/visa application with immigration. UNITED KINGDOM (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales) - *Passport required. Visa not required for stay of up to 6 months. URUGUAY - *Passport required. Visa not required for tourist/business stay of up to 90 days. For longer stay visa requires 1 complete application form, passport (with minimum validity of six months), 1 passport sized photograph, onward/return ticket, and $42 fee (money order only). Include SASE with proper postage for return of passport by registered mail. UZBEKISTAN - *Passport and visa required. Invitations letter from a sponsoring organization or individual required. Note: Uzbek visas indicate the validity of the visa AND the period of time a person is allowed to stay on a given trip. Althoughvisas have been issued for four years with multiple entries in the past, since the end of 2005 most Uzbek visas have been limited to less than three months in duration. A visitor will have to leave the country after the number of days indicated as the duration of stay on the visa. Therefore, it is important to indicate your intended period of stay when applying for your Uzbek visa. VENEZUELA - *Passport, onward/return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds required. Visa not required for a stay of up to 90 days, but business and other travelers need a visa which requires 1 application form and letter from company. This type of visa is valid for 1 year with multiple entries (each entry allows a period of up to 180 days). All travelers must pay departure tax ($30) at airport. Minors (under 18) who are traveling alone, with one parent or with a third party, must present a copy of their birth certificate and written authorization from the absent parent(s) or legal guardian. Tourist visa requires proof of U.S. address, reference letter, and letter from applicant’s employer. Tourist visa is valid for 1 year, with multiple entries (each entry allows a period of up to 90 days).
