Before coming to a clinic for a TB skin test, please note:
  • According to Chapter 164-11 of the Department Of Health Administrative Rules, only the following categories of people are eligible for free TB testing through the State of Hawaii:
    • Children prior to school registration
    • Health care workers
    • Food handlers
    • Students entering college
    • Care home operators
    • People in contact with an active TB case
    • School employees
    • Care home residents
    • People who recently immigrated to the United States

  • Please bring a form of identification to the clinic
  • To save time, fill out the TB Registration form and bring it with you
  • Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
  • You must return to the clinic for your reading 2 - 3 days after the test
