Before coming to a clinic for a TB skin test, please note:
- According to Chapter 164-11 of the Department Of Health
Administrative Rules, only the following categories of people are
eligible for free TB testing through the State of Hawaii:
- Children prior to school registration
- Health care workers
- Food handlers
- Students entering college
- Care home operators
- People in contact with an active TB case
- School employees
- Care home residents
- People who recently immigrated to the United States
- Please bring a form of identification to the clinic
- To save time, fill out the TB Registration form and bring it with you
- Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or
legal guardian
- You must return to the clinic for your reading 2 - 3 days after the
test
