Everything you buy has an effect on the environment. As a consumer you make a difference in what kind of products are in demand and produced. When you buy products that consume less energy and last longer than others, you not only pollute the air less, you send a message to industry that you want them to produce environmentally responsible products. Here's what you can do when it's time to shop.
