Some people who have hearing loss might benefit from using an amplification system for one-on-one or group meetings. Shown here is an FM System. The small triangular microphones in this instance are placed around the speakerphone. The user would then use the "receiver" part of the system with a headset or induction loop (worn around the neck) to hear the sounds in conjunction with a hearing aid.

This web site is maintained by the Disability Resource Center serving the U.S. Department of Transportation's employees and applicants for employment.
