The Frankfurt Book Fair 2008, held on October 15-19, is the world's largest trade show for the publishing industry. With a history dating back 500 years, it is the world’s most important venue for publishers, agents, booksellers, librarians, translators, authors and suppliers dealing with publishing rights, licenses, and international property rights. audiobooks, magazines and calendars now accounting for the bulk
of the selection on offer. The industry’s professionals use
the Fair as a post-entry training opportunity, to make or

international trading center for rights and licenses.
