There was a conscious decision made by US&FCS management to place
more focus on the “new-to-export” category of successes
rather then the “new-to-market” category. Domestic field
staff devoted substantial time and effort to achieve the “new-to-export”
target. This is the most difficult of the three export success metrics
(increase-to-market, new-to-market, and new-to-export). |
Strategies
for Improvement:
ITA will work to achieve a more balanced approach to hit all targets
in FY 2008 for all categories as a corrective action. |
