CSERGE undertakes policy relevant interdisciplinary research on environmental issues. Central to our mission is the pursuit of excellence in the conduct and presentation of research and a commitment to explore relevant environmental issues for a variety of circumstances and stakeholders, and across different temporal and spatial scales. Research tools include economic analysis, environmental valuation, political and institutional analysis, integrated environmental-economic modelling, risk analysis, multi-stakeholder mediations techniques, life cycle assessment, geographical information systems.
