Commercial events – shows, missions, conferences – are especially crucial to your business plans with Iraq.  There are years of semi-autarky, sanctions and mismanagement to overcome.  And given the difficulty of traveling in Iraq today, events in the United States, Europe and elsewhere – as well as  across the Middle East – provide invaluable access to this emerging major market.  

Since March 2005, CS Iraq dispatched groups to many shows, taking 100's of Iraqi business representatives and officials to trade events in the U.S., Germany, Hong Kong and the Middle East.  More are scheduled for 2007 and 2008.  Probably more important than any trade and joint venture deals inked at these shows, confidence and friendship are displacing distance and unfamiliarity.
