CS Switzerland provides information on key Swiss government tenders through trade leads. CS Switzerland generally publishes trade leads on tenders for scientific and laboratory equipment issued by Switzerland’s two federally funded universities that are of particular interest to U.S. exporters. The CS European Union office in Brussels publishes a comprehensive listing of Swiss government tenders that are included in the Official Journal of the European Union and covered by the WTO Government Procurement Agreement. The CS European Union database lists government tenders from 29 European countries, including Switzerland. ( Although Switzerland is not a member of the EU, Switzerland and the EU have signed a series of bilateral agreements.) The CS EU Brussels database is updated twice per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
All tenders from Swiss state-owned companies and government agencies that exceed CHF 250.000 (USD 200.000) must be published and are subject to WTO GPA regulations.
