Stopfakes provides information to U.S. companies looking for information on obtaining intellectual property rights and enforcing their rights overseas.

It is the Central Website for the U.S. Government's Strategy Targeting Organized Piracy (STOP!), which is a unified effort against piracy and IPR theft involving federal government agencies, the private sector, and many of our trading partners.

The STOP! initiative is designed to crack down on the criminal networks that traffic in counterfeit and pirated products, stop trade in these goods around the globe and at America's borders, and help American buinesses - especially small and medium-sized enterprisses.
