Data Sources


Research on comparative labor statistics is based upon statistical data and other source materials from (a) statistical agencies of foreign countries; (b) international and supranational bodies such as the United Nations, International Labor Office (ILO), Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and the Statistical Office of the European Communities (EUROSTAT); and (c) industry associations and research institutions. All data are drawn from secondary sources; the Bureau does not initiate surveys or data collection programs abroad.
