Legislation

On April 30, 2003, President Bush signed into law the Prosecutorial Remedies and Other Tools to end the Exploitation of Children Today (PROTECT) Act, which comprehensively strengthened law enforcement’s ability to prevent, investigate, prosecute, and punish violent crimes committed against children.
