Ice Climbing

Ice climbing in the mountains of the Bridger-Teton is a breath taking experience. The glaciers in the Wind River Range offer endless routes of varying degrees of difficulty and pitch for the adventurer. The fundamentals of climbing and ropes need to be mastered before testing your "vertical limit". Always check the avalanche danger before venturing out into the winter wonderland. From December thru April you can contact the avalanche hotline at 307-733-2664 or our avalanche website Jackson Hole Avalanche Center.
