Ensuring worker safety includes providing adequate training for all workers who require eye and face protection. When employees are trained to work safely, they should be able to anticipate and avoid injury from job-related hazards. Examples of available training resources are provided below.
  • Personal Protective and Life Saving Equipment. OSHA, (1996, May). Outlines the criteria for protective equipment including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, and protective shields and barriers.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Eye Protection. National Ag Safety Database (NASD). Provides a list of video abstracts pertaining to eye protection that may be purchased through the website.
